This is a photograph of T. H. MacQueen
standing to the left of Dan Gallagher's cabin. C.R. Walrod took this picture
of Gallagher's cabin for whom Gallagher's Canyon is named. The exact year
that the photograph was taken is unknown. Following south from Black Mountain
Elementary School to Mission Creek would give the approximate location where
the cabin stood and the land owned by Gallagher who pre-empted in 1898. |
